Dr. Muhammad Qudrat-i-Khuda (1900-03-08 – 1977-10-07) was a pioneering Bangladeshi scientist, educator, and industrialist. Trained in chemistry at the University of London, he returned to Bengal and played a crucial role in establishing scientific research infrastructure, notably as the founding director of the Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR).

His contributions span the development of indigenous fertilizer production, the promotion of scientific education, and the authorship of several textbooks in Bengali to popularize science among students. In recognition of his services, he was awarded the Independence Day Award in 1977, the highest civilian honor of Bangladesh.
